When I get mad or I get frustrated, when I get discouraged or I get down, then I think about people that have it worse than I do. There is always, always somebody that has is better than you, but please believe there are people in far worse positions too.
When I realize this, that's when I say it is time to perform. I don't have an excuse and I take the excuses off the table.
I can't comprehend people not going out all and trying and trying to win. I didn't have the skill, talent and size in athletics, but I promise I was going to give it my all and I was going to go all out even when I was getting beat. I was going to lose giving 100 percent, not 30 percent. It doesn't make sense to me not to give it your best shot. So what if you lose, at least you went down swinging as hard as you could.
